ctcbritain provides and maintains a safe work environment and safe equipment. · ctcbritain ensures safe handling and use of furniture and equipment in the work environment. · ctcbritain provides health and safety information and instruction to staff and candidates. · ctcbritain ensures that there are measures to prevent accidents at work and work related ill health. · ctcbritain keeps safe and healthy working conditions. · ctcbritain will review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.
Fire Alarm With Sprinkler System
Ctcbritain has installed fire alarms with sprinkler systems inside the office and lecture rooms. · ctcbritain has fixed a sign in front of the main door indicating the direction which staff and students can use to evacuate the premises in case of a fire. · ctcbritain has also fixed signs outside the office main door to explain the procedure of evacuating the premises in case of a fire. · If the fire alarm goes off, the sprinkler system is activated, fire drills will be implemented. ctcbritain Responsibilities : Overall and final responsibility for health and safety is the responsibility of the Executive Manager of ctcbritain or any person appointed by the Executive Manager in different locations where ctcbritain is operating.
The day to day responsibility for ensuring that this health and safety policy is implemented and put to practice is the responsibility of the selected persons in different locations where ctcbritain operate and this binding responsibility is delegated to them by the Executive Manager of ctcbritain. To ensure health and safety standards are maintained/improved, the same selected persons will have the responsibility in the designated locations to ensure that: Employees do not interfere with anything provided to safeguard their health and safety. All employees co-operate with supervisors and managers on health and safety matters. All employees and trainees must take reasonable care of their own health and safety; reporting all health and safety concerns to an appropriate person in ctcbritain using the main email which is firstname.lastname@example.org
Safeguarding: Assessors and Trainers have a Duty of Care and responsibility towards all learners, if you have any concerns regarding any learners and feel that they are being bullied or at risk of harm you must refer them to your Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) immediately.

Cambridge Training College fully complies with all rules of data protection as stipulated in the Data Protection Act 1998. When candidate information is stored it is used for the following reasons: For correspondences and communication: In order for ctcbritain staff to effectively and efficiently communicate with our students, it is important for us to have key information of theirs in our records. Such information includes candidate name, age, profession and exam results. For creating certification and generating other related qualifications for successful candidates.
Key information is needed for the certification process including full name, course details and exam results. Storage We store details of candidates on portals which are protected by passwords which only the system administrators are aware of. In this way the information stored is completely inaccessible to the general public or other agents. Requests for information Keeping in line with the Data Protection Act 1998, any candidates can request information from ctcbritain but must allow for up to one month for a reply. Formal requests should be made to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Data Protection Act controls how personal information is used by organisations, businesses or the government. Everyone responsible for using data has to follow strict rules called ‘data protection principles’.
They must make sure the information is:
- used fairly and lawfully
- used for limited, specifically stated purposes
- used in a way that is adequate, relevant and not excessive
- kept for no longer than is absolutely necessary
- handled according to people’s data protection rights
- kept safe and secure
- not transferred outside the European Economic Area without adequate protection
There is stronger legal protection for more sensitive information, such as:
- ethnic background
- political opinions
- religious beliefs
- sexual health
- criminal records

Staff recruitment/Staff pay ctcbritain complies with each part of British legislation as it relates to staff recruitment and pay. Candidates Anyone (over 18 years old) can be trained and examined by ctcbritain. Candidates are all treated equally irrespective of any differences between them in any way. Discrimination Accusation Process ctcbritain deals with any alleged acts of discrimination in a very serious way. The first step is through the internal channels, where the managers or leaders will attempt to manage the situation and come to a conclusion. If a conclusion which suits all parties is not reached the accuser must appeal the decision of the manager/leader to one of the Directors of the company.

If a course is cancelled by ctcbritain a full refund will become due, refunds should be requested via email to firstname.lastname@example.org If a course is cancelled by the attendee, no refund will be due. If an individual customer is unable to attend on the scheduled course date reserved, the customer should notify ctcbritain at least 3 business days in advance. If they do so, we will agree and reschedule the course date with the customer for any course date in the next 6 months, subject to availability. If a customer fails to notify ctcbritain in advance of inability to attend on the course date reserved 3 business days before the course start date, then a rescheduling fee will apply.
Rescheduling Fees: For requests received 5 business days or more in advance of the scheduled date of the course, a charge of £50 is payable for rescheduling. For notification given less than 2 business days inclusive before the course date, a charge of £100 per course will be charged to reschedule. If a course is rescheduled due to insufficient identification documents a fee of £100 will be charged. If you fail to notify of non-attendance, a new course will have to be booked and full payment will be due. In the event of non-attendance where payment has been received, there shall be no refund and in the event of non-attendance where the fee has not been received, the fee will remain due and payable. Ctcbritain complies with the law and operates the following refund policy in respect of the cancellation of individual course bookings. Course cancelled by the customer – no refund will be due.
We operate a “no refunds” and “no cancellation” policy for our discounted courses offered on the day. If a course is run exclusively for a corporate customer – at a training providers premises, on a customer site or any other alternative venue – the same refund terms apply in the event of cancellation, but an alternative course date can be arranged by agreement.
